The Ethereum Summer School @Cluj has concluded with remarkable success! 🚀

Throughout the 22nd-30h of July 2024, our 20 participants engaged in an intensive program filled with workshops, lessons, and invaluable networking opportunities. Held in partnership with the Ethereum Community, the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Polygon Labs, Civic and EthCluj the event left a lasting impact on all attendees.

The First Romanian Solana Blockchain Developer Program has officially finished! 🎉

Last week we concluded our program with an engaging Q&A session with Jacob Creech, Head of Developer Relationships at Solana Foundation, and Mike Maccana Dev Rel at Solana Foundation. 📺 Their insights and discussions wrapped up an incredible journey for our participants. Stay tuned for updates on the next cohort of the program! 🚀

Our Ethereum Hackathon, held from July 27-29, brought together talented students from the Cluj for an intense weekend of innovation. 🚀

On July 30, the event concluded with a Demo Day where the Summer School participants showcased their groundbreaking projects and competed for the prizes. 🌟

The Hackathon was won by the SolidLuxury team made of Dan Rotar, Bogdan-Adrian Abrudan, Dan Guita, Paul-Nicolae Nicoară​

At the Ethereum Summer School in Cluj, blockchain developer George Negru delivered an engaging session on the importance of privacy in blockchain technology. Drawing from his extensive experience in Web3, he highlighted techniques for enhancing transaction security and privacy.

The biggest thing founders in the web3 space need to realize is that it doesn’t matter if it’s “web3” or not. (At least from the consumer side of things). Too many are forcing web3 over product-market fit.

They see a big platform like Telegram doing web3 without understanding that Telegram’s PMF had NOTHING to do with web3. And without PMF, a web3 solution is pointless. Trust and value do not have to do with technology. They have to do with the benefits of the technology. They have to do with the problems being solved through technology.

So focus your efforts on what matters -- establishing trust, value, building relationships, getting to know customers, and helping them solve problems. Whether it's delivered through web3 isn't the point. Because trust doesn't come from having an agenda. And without trust you have nothing.

Utility can't be designed or pre-planned. It is discovered through understanding people and their problems.

There’s an order to things.
